  • The Breastfeeding Mastered: A Program for Postpartum Professionals is a self paced online course that provides health professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to assess and support breastfeeding mothers and children across the spectrum.

    You will gain up to date skills and confidence in breastfeeding support, and become a valuable asset to your clients.

  • Kate Visser is an experienced midwife, nurse and Board Certified Lactation Consultant, having worked in the public system and in private practice. She has worked mentoring students, new graduates and colleagues in a formal and informal basis for over a decade. She is passionate about seeing all women reach their individual goals, breastfeeding, motherhood or business. She has created a successful, sustainable and influential business whilst starting and growing her own family.

    1:1 mentoring appointments are suitable for those:

    -Considering entering nursing/midwifery

    -Wanting to provide professional breastfeeding support/work towards IBCLC

    -Considering moving into private practice

    -Need support or debriefing as a midwife or IBCLC

    -Wanting support as a small business owner, navigating family life, systems, processes and people

    Clinical experience:

    Kate is committed to supporting student or new lactation consultants to transition into private practice with confidence. She also supports other health professionals to gain experience and understanding of what professional infant feeding support is available through Milky Business. Availability is very limited .
