Flange Fitting Workshop
Flange sizing is an integral component of pumping but unfortunately there is either no education provided or it’s outdated. The wrong size flange hinders breastfeeding journeys everyday. Pumping isn’t every health professionals forte but we owe it to the families in our care to expand our knowledge and upskill.
Join Kate Visser, an IBCLC with extensive professional and personal flange fitting and pumping experience to unpack the impact of our current standard of care, look at the research and outcomes when we listen to women’s experiences, and work through case studies to see how to better support families.
The live and interactive online webinar is anticipated to go for around 60 minutes, with the opportunity to ask questions and engage. We remove the woo woo and talk about the science behind optimal flange fitting.

Lacking confidence and skills to measure nipples
Unsure of how flange size affects breastfeeding
Wanting to feel knowledgeable discussing options and a good fit with women
It is especially for anyone still providing clients with a 24mm flange and upsizing to 27mm if concerned!
